Product Description
The BalustradeMove system is used where flexible design is required, such as for outdoor restaurant patios or sun deck areas, to transform particularly windy places into cozy corners.
The BalustradeMove system can either be a new installation or upgrade the existing glass balustrades.
The individual segments of the movable glass panel are manufactured to individual dimensions and delivered as a turn-key product.
The segments of the movable glass pane consists of two guide rails with integrated mechanics (gas pressure springs) and a glued safety glass, tested according to ISO 614. The glass used can be selected in different versions, as: single glazing, laminated glass, coated or tinted glass and many other possibilities. All components of the entire system are seawater resistant.
Concept
The movable pane is extended by lightly pressing it onto the edge of the glass.
The released gas pressure spring pushes the pane upwards turning the balustrade into a wind protection at approximately 1.9 m.
Lowering the movable pane is done in a similar way: by pressing down lightly, the movable glass element lowers in front of the fixed balustrade glass and finally snaps back into its original position.

Product description
Protection against strong wind, as fall protection, as privacy screens or as partitions between different areas – windscreen, balustrades and partitions are versatile and can be realized in their entirety using just one system! In order to ensure a consistent and elegant appearance on the ship, the system can be combined in a variety of sizes. Thanks to the flexible design, supplementation equipment such as handrails, light fittings, antennas, cameras or even doors can be attached very easily. A wide variety of materials such as glass or alucore surfaces can be used between the supports.
Concept
The system is perfectly tailored to the construction phases, the welding phase, preservation phase and installation phase, in shipbuilding.
This means that the positioning of the foundation plates can already be done in the welding phase. The foundations can be integrated during the normal preservation process and thus get high quality protection against corrosion. Placement of the supports and insertion of the panes is done during the installation phase. With the installation steps which can be realized individually, possible damage resulting from parallel installation works by other trades can also be avoided. Thanks to the special design of the interfaces between the supports and the foundation plates, the construction tolerances and unevenness of shipbuilding can easily be offset.
The flexible system for attachments such as handrails, camera brackets, lights and speakers can be repositioned or added to at any time.
