    Product description

Fire-resistant glazing reliably protects passengers against contact with fire, heat and smoke. This glazing is used along escape and emergency routes and at the meeting points by the lifeboats. The product therefore forms an essential part of on-board safety.
The system is able to absorb high loads such as a wave impact. This property is particularly desirable on the lower decks. Thanks to the design of the frame construction, integrated into the ship’s structure, the fire protection system remains optically in the background and offers maximum transparency.

A prefabricated frame is welded into the ship section. This offers the benefit that there is no structure protruding past the outer shell of the ship. In addition, no further substructure is therefore required for stability.
The insulated glass structure can be implemented with an exterior pressure pane of 12 mm or 15 mm. It is finished with a stainless steel frame which is screwed on.
The available glazing has a brand name Pyramare FR2 which meets the requirements of A60 and has an MED approval.
